YouTube Marketing

Right?!

This one video of mine, using a new experimental technique had 898 views in 21 hours.

How is that for Awesome? It is sad when the one good thing in my life is a temporary online experiment.

And breaking into peoples houses... but that never happened.

The Song I Couldn't Remember

George Michael's first Solo album had this little gem:

Told someone this songs significance, can't rememeber what that was at this point. All I know is that it makes me cry.

What a Week

Actually it was just the last few days.

Despite having finished building a couple of websites that I had been putting off, or maybe because of it, I got really sick. So sick that I had to call out of work. I only work one day a week, if that, and to make matters worse I no longer had the work phone number stored in my phone.

So in between bouts of agonizing stomach pain I text messaged the owner that I wasn't coming in. And I felt shitty about it.

One day a week and I had to pick that one to get sick. Makes me look more undependable than I really am.

The financial problems keep building as well as the emotional stress, and I hate Central Falls. I want out.

I'm venting, sorry.

Despite having absolutely no luck today with anything I tried to do it was still good to look at YouTube and see this:One of the videos I uploaded a little over 24 hours ago has already had 150 views. Another that has been up for less than a day has already had 100 views. Both of which are driving some decent traffic to one of my websites. Not the best results I have ever seen but not bad considering that though the traffic will eventually taper down a few notches they will continue to provide traffic as long as YouTube exists or they get deleted.

All thanks to that silly litte Tube Traffic eBook I bought on a whim on Ebay for .99 cents. Couple that with some of my own ideas I used to expand the concepts and I'm pulling regular checks into my Paypal account.

Video Marketing is cool. My only problem is upload speeds and file size. At home a 1 minute video can take an hour to upload, and the chances of being knocked offline are fairly great. At the library, despite what they claim is their connection speed, it takes half an hour. And I have been knocked offline there as well. Other free Wi-Fi spots often have content filters that wont let me market to certain websites.

That's just a pain in the ass.
