Bike Trip
Starting on August 2nd, 2010 I plan on riding my bike from the headquarters of Meals on Wheels Rhode Island to the very tip of Key West Florida.
The trip will be 2,230 miles long and take over a month to complete.
Why would anyone do this?
I am trying to raise money to help RI Meals on Wheels meet the nutritional needs of the elderly and to raise awareness about the wonderful work that this organization does.
I will be using the East Coast Greenway Trail System to get to Florida.
And maybe if I’m up to it I will go to Maine and ride back to Providence to be the first person to complete the entire ECG Trail since 2005.
The Bike Trip Starts August 2nd
